Robert L. "Linky" Bartek, 75, of Dillonvale, died February 27, 2019 at Altercare of Adena.  He was born August 21, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH,  a son of the late Frank and Violet (Koutsky).  Robert was retired from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Plant, was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam war, and was a member of the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy (Contra), and brother Ronnie Bartek.  He is survived by his son, Robert "Rob" (Tamara) Bartek of Lancaster, OH; daughter, Elizabeth Newman of Bloomingdale, OH; grandchildren, Maya, Anya, Ashely, Vinny, and Anna.    Friends will be received Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH 43917.  Funeral services at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Close officiating.  Military services conducted by the Dillonvale McCook Post #529 at the funeral home.
