Robert L. Hood Robert L. "Bob" Hood, 74, of Robin Wood Ln., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Jan. 13, 2002 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born Dec. 10, 1927 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Manley W. and Helen M. Schultz Hood. He retired from the former Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry and worked for the former Stresky Overhead Door Co. of Wheeling. Bob was a Past Master of Ohio City Lodge # 486 F. & A. M. and a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. Surviving are his wife Mildred Winland Hood, a son Robert L. Hood, Jr. and his wife Jan of Columbus, two daughters Carol J. Meek of Bridgeport and Judith K. Souillard and her husband Kenneth of St. Clairsville, two brothers E. Allan Hood and his wife Marjorie of Shadyside and Richard "Dick' Hood and his wife Becky of Martins Ferry, seven grandchildren Shanna, Brandon, Tiffany, and Spencer Hood all of Columbus, Tanya Meek of Columbus, Leean Souillard of Cuyahoga Falls, and Teresa Bailey and her husband Kevin of Bellaire, several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tue. 7-9 PM and Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thur. At 10:00 AM with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Masonic Ritualistic Services will be held Wed. at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
