Obituary

Robert D. "Bob" Perko, 87, of Brookside died Friday June 10, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born May 5, 1929 in Lansing, a son of the late Daniel "Don" and Mary (Berus) Perko. He was retired owner and operator of Perko TV service, a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport, Veteran in the US Army, the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree #2262 Bridgeport, and the American Legion Post 2015 St. Clairsville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Anne "Dolly" (Fulton) Perko, and a sister Virginia Heartline. Bob is survived by a son Tom (Sharon) Perko of Geneva, OH, two daughters Theresa (Delbert) Bostaph of Bridgeport, and Diane (Scott) Bair of Plain City, OH, two brothers William R. (Ann) Perko of Homosassa, FL, and Jerome (Connie) Perko of Gahanna, OH, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday June13, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, wake service will be recited at 2 pm at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church Bridgeport, with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant, interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either St. Joseph or St. Anthony Catholic Churches.
