Robert Alan Brown, 50, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Tuesday June 7. 2011. He was born in Martins Ferry on March 7, 1961, a son of the late James T. and Mary Harriet Brown. Robert was a former employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital, a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church of Bridgeport, and a member of the North American Hunting Club. He truly loved spending time with nature and his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother James T. Brown Jr. and a sister, Patricia Brown-North. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Alberta Perez Brown, a son Robert Allen Mackey of Raleigh, NC., stepsons: George and Christopher Stan of Martins Ferry; two brothers: Duane Brown (Rebecca) of Bellaire and George Brown (Patricia) of Naples, Italy; an aunt Ruby Jackson of Martins Ferry; four grandchildren: George J., Devon, Caleb and Peyton Stan, Brothers-in-law Kim North and Frank Perez; sisters-in-law: Linda (Scott) Friend, Karen Brown and Kathy Fletcher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday June 14, 2011 from 10:00am until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 noon, with Reverend Myron Seals, officiating at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio.
