Robert "Bob" W. Delman, 93, of Bridgeport, OH died Thursday, October 25th 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.  He was born August 24, 1925, a son of the late Fred J. and Anna (Rueckle) Delman.  Bob was a former Chief Engineer for Marsh Wheeling, was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the 278th Engineering Combat Battalion Company B in WWII, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brookside.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in is death by his wife, Helen Schaal Delman in 2008,  brother, Fred P. Delman, and sister, Helen Delman Workman.  Robert is survived by his children; Jean (Arden) Watson of Bridgeport, Janet (Dave) Howard of Warwood, WV,  David (Nancy) Delman of Bellaire, Jerry (Jaynelle Moore) Delman of Quaker City; sister, Betty Harper of Polk;  grandchildren, Derek, Courtney, and Ryan Leach, Chase,  Justene, Zachary, and Blake Delman, and Cory and Jacob Alexander.  Friends will be received Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912.  A military service will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association at the funeral home on Sunday at 6pm. Friends will also be received at the funeral home Monday, October 29th from 12 until time of service at 1pm.  Interment to follow at Weeks Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 56381 National Rd.
