Robert L. Finney, Jr., 81, of Colerain St., Bridgeport, OH died Thursday May 21, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital , Wheeling, WV. He was born Jan. 8, 1928 in Pleasant Grove, OH a son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Lucile H. (Major) Finney. He was a retired driver for Ohio Truck Service. Robert was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and the Colerain V.F.W Post #8848. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korea. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elsie E. (Jenkins) Finney, a brother Ralph M. Finney and a sister Sarah Lee Evanczyk. Surviving are a son Robert D. (Kathy) Finney of Colerain, OH, a daughter Linda (Charles) Craft of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters Mary King of Pleasant Grove and Eleanor (Joe) Leavey of Beaver, PA, and two grandchildren Cody and Kyle Craft. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Tuesday 2-8 pm and Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Colerain Fire Company, P.O.
