Robert A. Franke, 99, of Colerain, OH died Aug. 21, 2010 at Sunset Health Care, Harrisville, OH. He was born June 5, 1911 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Alfred L. and Estella V. (Cook) Franke. He retired from Ohio Power after 42 years of service and was a member of Smithfield Lodge #182 F&AM. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Anna (Humphreville) Franke, two brothers, William and Alfred Franke and a sister Dorothy Fitzsimmons. Surviving are his daughter Jean Ann Phillips and her husband John of St. Clairsville, OH, two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
