Robert "Bob" Fry, 93 of Pickerington, formerly of Martins Ferry, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born July 21, 1929, in Martins Ferry the son of the late Robert A. and Hallie (Hendrickson) Fry.

Bob was retired from Picoma Industries where he worked in purchasing and inventory control. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Bob was very active in the community, previously serving as Council-at-Large, and President of the Martins Ferry Rotary Club. He served on the Martins Ferry Emergency Squad for many years and is an honorary member of the Martins Ferry Volunteer Fire Department (Ladder Company).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Isabella Marie Machine.

Left to cherish his many memories are his loving wife of 71 years, Mignonne Fry, children; Dan (Jacque) Fry of Dublin, OH, Mark (Sally) Fry of St. Clairsville and Vanna Fry of Wheeling, six grandchildren; Winston Fry, Jennifer (James) Murphy, Leesa (Kris) Helt, Jamie (John) Machine, Alecia (Tyler) Hill and Christine Fry, and eleven great-grandchildren.

According to Bob's wishes, all services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside is proudly assisting the family.
