Robert L. Gatten, 41, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born February 4, 1972 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Robert E. Gatten and Sally S. West Gatten. Robert was a giving person with a heart of gold and a deep love for everyone. He was a member of The United Way and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. He was a senior manager with the Appollo/ATG Company. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harvey and Dorotha Gatten; maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Dorothy West. Robert is survived by his parents, Robert and Sally Gatten of Belmont, Ohio; former wife, Tracy Gatten; daughter, Ava Gatten; son, Kaleb Gatten all of Colliers, West Virginia; sister, Lorie Grob of Belmont, Ohio; brother, Timothy Gatten of Crestview, Florida; and nephews, Michael, Matthew, Nathan, Nicholas, and John. Visitation for Robert will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where the service will be conducted, Sunday at 3 p.m. Pastor James Rhodes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
