Robert W. Hunter, 71, of Tudor Dr., St. Clairsville, OH died Tues., Mar. 1, 2005 at home. He was born Sept. 27, 1933 in Lansing, OH a son of Helen (Fabin) Hunter and the late William C. Hunter. He was a retired contract salesman for GTE Sylvania Company and an employee of Crispin Golf Course at Oglebay Park. Bob was a member of Thoburn U. Methodist Church, St. Clairsville where he was an usher for many years, and also a veteran of the U. S. Army. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his daughter Kristie Hunter-Mitchell in 1983. Surviving are his mother of Lansing, his wife Elaine A. (Armbruster) Hunter, and a sister Betty Savarise of Lansing. Friends will be received Fri. 2-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sat., Mar. 5, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kim Anderson, Pastor Mike Husted and Pastor Frank Givens officiating. Burial follows in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 98B E.
