Robert Dale Lucas, 72, of Bethesda, Ohio died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 27, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Forrest Dale Lucas and Evelyn Bolon Lucas. He was a deacon at Bethesda Christian Church. Robert had a deep love for his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Lucas; and brother, David Lucas. Robert is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Brad) Cain of Bethesda, Ohio; sons, Rodney (Laurie) Lucas of Belmont, Ohio and Rick (Charlotte) Lucas of Bethesda, Ohio; for grandchildren, Todd Cain, Tonya (Nik) Harris, Sheri Lucas, and Austin Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Abel Harris; and brother, Daniel (Connie) Lucas of Bethesda, Ohio. Family and friends may visit, Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Minister Tim Snyder will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
