Robert H. "Bob" Marmie, 73, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away and was reunited with his loving wife, Beverly, Tuesday August 30, 2011. He was born June 14, 1983 in Bethesda, Ohio, son of the late Charles F. Marmie and Nellie Gay Chambers Marmie. Bob was a 1957 graduate of Beallsville High School. He retired from the Consolidated Aluminum Plant after 35 year, he was a member of the Local 5760 United Steelworkers Union, and a member of the Barnesville Senior Citizens Center. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Beverly Huffman Marmie; an infant daughter, Kimberly; sisters, Eleanor, Jessie, and Louise; brothers, Carl, Charles, and Elmer; and half brothers, Marian Thompson and Carris Marmie. He is survived by daughters, Letitia (Steven) Temple of Barnesville, Ohio, Rae Jean (Daniel) Nameth of Wolfhurst, Ohio; son, Robert "Monty" Marmie of Somerton, Ohio; grandchildren, Brandon (Stacy), Tabitha (Justin), Tiffany (Tyler), Shawnee, Shane, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Katy, Dillon, Ajay, Ethan, Peyton, and Keegan; sisters, Mable Pastva of Arizona and Evelyn Auble of Wellington, Ohio; and brother, David Marmie of Michigan. Family and friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and7 to 9 p.m., at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., Reverend Gene Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
