Robert M. Miller, Brilliant, OH died Fri., Sept. 28, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. He was born Jan. 7, 1925 in Bridgeport, OH a son of the late David and Mary Rose (Groetzinger) Miller. He was a retired engineer for American Electric Power. Robert was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Post # 573 both of Brilliant, OH and also a veteran of the U.S. Army WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Orville M. Miller, and a sister Dorothy M. Gatts. Surviving are his wife Anne (Carpino) Miller, a son Jeff (Pam) Miller of Tucson, AZ, and a daughter Debbie (Tom) Farynowski of Columbus, OH, three brothers Roy M. (Germaine) Miller of Columbus, Lt. Col. David M. (Mieko) Miller of Surprise, AZ and John M. (Eileen) Miller of Martins Ferry, OH, and four grandsons. Friends will be received Sun 6-8 PM and Mon. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues., Oct. 2, 2007at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Ater officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Full military services will be held at the funeral home by the American Legion Post # 573 Brilliant, OH.
