Robert Louis Misencik, 72, of Bridgeport, died Thursday July 8, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 9, 1937 in Martins Ferry, OH, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Zelenitz) Misencik. Robert was retired from Wheeling Stamping and a member of All Saints and St. Joseph Catholic Churches. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother George Misencik. He is survived by his wife Karen; a son Tim Misencik and his wife Camela of Canton, GA; three grandchildren, Emily, Abby, and Nicholas Misencik; three brothers Michael Misencik of Blaine, Larry Misencik of Blaine, Ronald Misencik and his wife Sharon of Shadyside; and two sisters Mary Ann Yazrombek of Blaine, and Bernie Risner and her husband Jack of Columbus, OH. Visitation will be on Friday July 9, 2010 from 5-8 pm with a vigil service at 5 PM and on Saturday from 10- 10:45 AM at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
