Robert L. Moore, 60, of Nixons Run, Martins Ferry, OH died Tues, Jun. 8, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Nov. 1, 1943 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Samuel C. and Blanche (Thomas) Moore. He was a retired self employed furniture refinisher and a Protestant by faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Ralph, Richard, and Samuel C, Moore, Jr., and two sisters Frances Chandlier and Shirley Barr. Surviving are his wife Ocie M. (Bell) Moore, two sons Dan Moore and Robert (Emma) Moore all of Martins Ferry, a daughter Sandy Elkins of Palm Coast, FL, a brother George Moore of FL, four sisters Virginia Stan and Hazel Wyatt both of Martins Ferry, Mary (Nick) Kirko of Glen Robbin and Janie (Jim) Maynard of Xenia, OH, and five grandchildren Jennifer and Samantha Elkins, and Amy, Courtney, and Bobby Moore. Friends will be received Thurs. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Jun 11, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Bernard Crow officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
