Robert Nowakowski, 82, of Bridgeport, died Monday, September 20, 2021, in his residence.  He was born on July 2, 1939, in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Sigmond and Anna (Mirczak) Nowakowski.  Bob served his country in the United States Air Force, enjoyed gardening, cooking and bowling.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Janet Nowakowski; two children, Dawn McWha and Michelle Moore; grandchildren, Michael McWha, Amber Ford, Stephanie Moore;  and great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Braylon.  He also had many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Molly.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Nowakowski and his dog, Popeye.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
