Robert L. "Red" Ruckh, Sr., 85, of Rayland, OH, died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born October 24, 1930 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Irvin and Edna (Nest) Ruckh. "Red" retired from Kroger after 45 years service. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and Masonic Lodge #5 A F & A M both of Wheeling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Mowrey) Ruckh, his son, James E. Ruckh, a brother, Irvin Ruckh and a sister, Marian "Sis" Robbins. Surviving are his children, Robert Ruckh, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Jacquelyn Clark of Wheeling, Sally (Jack) Smith of Lafayette, IN, Diane (Gene) Armstrong of Ocean, NJ, John (Ginna) Ruckh of Ararat, NC, Carolyn Mowder of Wheeling and Barbara (Scott) Coakley of Leonardo, NJ, a brother Eugene Ruckh of Pittsburgh, PA, a sister Gerry (James) Kull of Bradenton FL, twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday 6 - 8 p.m. where services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Deborah Gable officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book below.
