Robert H. Roth, 93, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Life Care Ctr. of Medina, OH. He was born November 24, 1925 in Martins Ferry a son of the late John Roth, Sr. and Anna (Lander) Roth.

He was a retired meat cutter with the former A & P and Super Duper Grocery Stores of Martins Ferry.

Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #38 and Ohio City Lodge #486 F. & A.M. all of Martins Ferry. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, WWII.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen M. (Epley) Roth, siblings: George, Richard, Arthur, John, William, Herman and Fritz Roth, Elizabeth Clark, Freda Dietrich and Anna Young.

Surviving are his children: Dave (Karen) Roth of Galloway, OH and Sharon (Jan) Piko of Brunswick, OH, his sister, Loretta "Pat" Roth of Martins Ferry and grandchildren: Jason (Theresa) Roth, Jessica (Jimmy Young) Roth, Jennifer (Steve) Balmert, Kellie (Joe) Burke and Jimmy (Melissa-Fiance) Piko and great grandchildren: Blake, Marissa, Leah, Tyler, Carson, Jacob and Hailey.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

Military honors will be presented by Belmont County Council of American Legion Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
