Robert F. Stenger, 67, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at his home. He was born July 15, 1944 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late Joseph W. Stenger. Robert was the owner and operator of R.S. Stenger Trucking and was also a farmer. He attended Assumption Catholic Church and was in the National Guard for eight years. Robert is survived by his wife, Sue (Hawkins) Stenger of the home; his mother, Florence R. Lude Stenger; four daughters, Traci (Jeremy) Davis, Melissa (Matt) Schultz, Bobbi Sue Stenger (Jacob Robinson, Jr.), and Casey (Derek) Day; two sons, Scott Stenger and Doug (Jamie) Stenger; ten grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Hannah, Payson, Teegan, Allie, Carter, Jacob, Ellie, and Joshua; six sisters, Mary (Jim) Gregor, Judy (Jake) Kidd, JoAnne (Tim) Cline, Theresa (Jerry) Huck, Ann (Ike) Pierce, and Kathy (Danny) Warfield; and three brothers, Joe (Karen) Stenger, Ed (Nancy) Stenger, and David Stenger. Family and friends may call, Monday 4 to 8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where services will be conducted, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Monsignor Mark J. Froehlich officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
