Robert Lee “Pappy” Timberlake, 71, of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on July 9, 2026. He was born on January 18, 1955 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late William and Helen (Michels) Timberlake.

Robert retired as a truck driver. He enjoyed family time, vacations, and country music. He liked watching NFL games and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He loved watching his granddaughters play sports, especially softball and all the girls from Team Ohio. Recently a nurse asked him, what do you like to be called, he replied, “Pappy”; which is what his family and friends called him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Parker and brother-in-law, Rick Parker.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheila T. Timberlake; sons, Robert (Stix) and Kelly Timberlake, Michael Timberlake; stepsons, Christopher Hudson and Michael (Michelle) Hudson; grandchildren, Caroline, Rosie, Ryleigh, Georgia, Mailee, Michael; siblings, Pam (Terry) Loges, Tim , Sr. (Brenda) Timberlake, Bill (Linda) Timberlake.

Per Pappy’s request, all services are private. A celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912 is honored to assist the family.
