Robert "Bob" Edward Warfield, 87, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed Saturday August 29, 2015 at Cumberland Pointe, St. Clairsville, OH. He was born in Martins Ferry, on June 21, 1928, a son of the late Lewis and Bernice Hanlon Warfield. Robert was a retired employee of the State of Ohio and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Pauline Wensyel; brothers Chris and Jack Teater. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Warfield; a sister Ruth Saffell of Bethesda; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio from 11:00 until the time of service at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Kevin Roseberry officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Military Honors provided by Belmont County Veterans Association at the cemetery.
