ROBERT ""BOB"" WEESE, 72, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Heartland Lansing Care Center. He was born January 19, 1937 in Elkins, WV, the son of the late Howard and Stella (Woolwine) Weese. Bob retired from T.C.I. of Ohio where he was manager of the Ohio office for 35 years. He was a member of the Lansing Methodist Church; Lansing Sportsman's Club; Polish Club in Wolfhurst; Bridgeport Eagles Aerie #995; and the former Martins Ferry Kiwanis Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Clarence and Bud Weese; and three sisters Beryl Roy, Janie Teets and Billie Taylor. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mildred ""Mike"" (Ketterman) Weese; a son Scott Weese and his wife Jan of Groveport, OH; a daughter Brenda Dawson and her husband Brian of Uniontown, OH; a brother Harry Weese and his wife Carol of Phoenix, OR; three granddaughters Rachel, Rebecca and Bethany Dawson; and good buddy Wilson Weese. Bob loved life, friends and most of all his family. He was an avid Bridgeport Bulldog. ""Go Bulldogs!"" ""Keep movin!"" Visitation will be Saturday from Noon - 6 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where services will be held Sunday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Lisa Boulton officiating. Visitation will then be held at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins, WV from 3-6 pm on Monday. You are then invited to attend graveside services Tuesday at 10 am at Linwood Cemetery in Blaine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lansing United Methodist Church.
