West, Robert O. 69, of Shadyside formerly of Wheeling died December 22, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center Wheeling. He was born January 21, 1944 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Harry J. and Mary (Stephens) West. He was a retired coal miner and an employee of the Dallas Pike Truck Stop; he was a member of the Shadyside Methodist Church, and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Harry, Winston, and Russell West, a sister Linda West. Robert is survived by a brother North West, Sisters; June Stobbs, and Jeannine Salyers both of Wheeling, and Evelyn Charlton of Virginia Beach, Va., numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends Kathy Hoyt, and Cathy Flemming. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday December 26, 2013 from 6-9 pm, where services will be held on Friday at 1 pm, with Rev.
