Robert "Po" Porter, 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus Bellaire Ohio. He was born October 24, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Robert W. and Mary (Greskevitch) Porter.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Ohio. He graduated from Murray State University, retired from teaching after 40 years of service at the former St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in Wolfhurst, and was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Wolfhurst.  He also was an avid sports fan.

Surviving are his brother Darrell, sister-in –law, Sherri, nephew Brian, nieces Heather and Megan all of Brick New Jersey and several cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912 on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 6:30PM, with Fr. John Mucha as the celebrant.

Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside is assisting the family.  Burial will take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1685 National Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003 at the convenience of the family at a later date.
