Robin L. "Rob" Frasnelly, 76, of Lansing died Friday August 22, 2014 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling. He was born March 22, 1938 in Wheeling, a son of the late Martin J. and Blanche (Souillard) Frasnelly. He was a retired Tech for Bayer Corporation New Martinsville, WV, a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church, where he was a past trustee, a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1957, past president of the Bridgeport boosters, a veteran in the US Army. Rob was an avid sports fan loving the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Pirates, the Bridgeport Bulldogs, and Ohio State Buckeye's "Go Bucks" as he always said, he loved to golf and read, and especially to spend time with his loving family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Kelly and Edward Frasnelly, and a sister Pearl Frasnelly. Rob is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Snodgrass) Frasnelly, sons Scott Frasnelly of Lansing, and Kurt (Rhonda) Frasnelly of St. Clairsville, and a granddaughter Taylore Frasnelly, of Morristown, the light of his life. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday August 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm with Rev. John Jackson officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
