Roger Wayne Jenewein, 70, of Bethesda Ohio passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, after a short battle with cancer.
Roger was born August 21, 1941, in Bellaire, the son of late Melvin W. and Hazel I. Crum Jenewein. He was a retired Case Manager for the Belmont County Department of Jobs and Family Services, a member of the Bethesda Christian Church, Hazen Masonic Lodge of Bethesda, Bethesda Senior Center, and Ohio Public Employees Inc., Belmont County Chapter.
Roger was a deeply devoted family man and a very loving father. He enjoyed attending car shows with his son Kent, and loved to travel. He and his wife made many trips over the last 8 years, with travels to Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, and Caribbean Cruises being some of his favorites. He will be deeply missed by many family and friends.
Roger is survived by his wife Shirley Kemp Jenewein, of 49 years, married on June 10, 1962. Also surviving are two sons, Kevin of Dayton, Ohio and Kent of Bethesda, 2 sisters, Judy Jenewein and Carol Jenewein, both of Bethesda.
Friends will be received Friday 2 to 8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda, Ohio with services Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda.
Hazen Masonic Lodge services will be held on Friday at 6 p.m.
