ROGER L. MARSHALL, SR., 60, of Martins Ferry, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born July 17, 1948 in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Homer and Mildred (Raber) Marshall. Roger was retired from Marsh-Wheeling Stogies and was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Gloria Ritter. He is survived by his wife Jeannette (Beaver) Marshall of Martins Ferry; a son Roger Jr. of Fulton, WV; four brothers Ed of Flushing, Willard of Farmington, Robert of Farmington and Victor of Colerain; and three sisters Rose Baylor of Colerain, Sharon Morris of Tuscaloosa, AL and Ruth Marconi of Columbus, OH. Roger's funeral services will be private with interment at Farmington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Brookside.
