Roger H. McKeen, 75, of Belmont, Ohio went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014. He was born April 26, 1939 in Glouster, Ohio, son of the late Roy Merwood and Eva Mildred McKeen. He was retired from the Consol Coal Company, Georgetown #12 Mine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; son, Vance; and brother, Dale. Surviving are son, Roger (Jane) McKeen; daughter, Sandra (John) Stanford; daughter-in-law, Shawn McKeen; brothers, Larry (Karen) McKeen, Wayne (Barbara) McKeen; and sister, Janet (Robert) Kocher. A loving and devoted family man, he will be missed by his grandchildren, Jamie (Dustin) Arp, Jason Stanford, Justin McKeen, Nathan (Gini) McKeen, and Jessica McKeen; great-grandchildren, Afton, Aiden, and Jaxon Arp; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Roger's legacy was and will always be his family. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, followed by a Graveside Service at Belmont Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Gallagher officiating.
