Rollin E. McAninch, 75, of Colerain, OH died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at home. He was born Aug. 17, 1931 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Elishia M. McAninch, Sr. and Bessie L. (Bellville) McAninch He was a retired conductor for Con Rail. Rollin was a member and elder of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Harrisville, a member of Ionic Lodge #438 F. & A. M. of Bellaire, Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville, International Legion of Honor, and Osiris Temple of Wheeling. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Dana D. Bondzeleske, and four brothers Elishia Melvin McAninch, Jr., James C. McAninch, Ellis L. McAninch, and Howard L. McAninch, Jr. Surviving are his wife Verneice D. (Griffiths) McAninch, two daughters Sharon (Phillip) Bohn of Bethlehem, WV and Linda Faldowski of Colerain, a brother George McAninch of Martins Ferry, two sisters Martha (William) Padgelek of Beallsville, OH and Theresa (Gary) Weekley of St. Clairsville, OH, four grandchildren Amy L. Smith, Rollin P. Bohn, Jenelle (Jon) Fitch, and Jonathan Faldowski, and two great grandchildren Erik and Emmett Fitch. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH with full military honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the V. F. W. Masonic Ritualistic services will by held Friday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 49325 St. Rt. 250, Harrisville, OH 43974.
