Ronald Kenneth Ault, 60, of Belmont, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1953 in Paxton, Illinois, son of Roger K. Ault and the late Betty F. Irvin Ault. Ron was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He was a member of the Belmont County Agricultural Society where he served as grounds superintendent, spending the past four years helping to construct the new fairgrounds. He was an avid sports fan and had a great love for the outdoors. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. In addition to his mother, Betty Ault, he was preceded in death by his son, SSG Jesse A. Ault in 2008; grandchildren, Angel and Mason Phillips; and father-in-law, William Wise. Ron is survived by his wife, Debi E. Ault; father, Roger (Phyllis) Ault; daughter, Crystal (Dave) Phillips of Bethesda, OH; sons, Drew (Katie) Ault of Nashville, TN, Bryan (Rebecca) Hull of Belmont, OH; grandchildren, Adam and Rachel Ault, Nathan Jennings, Zachary, Heidi, and Hayley Hull, Carson and Gage Phillips; sisters, Robyn (Jim) McGuire of Clarington, OH, Sharon (Pat) Baker of Cameron, OH; brothers, Tim (Katrina) Ault of Amherst, OH, Chris (Tommie) Ault of Cameron, OH; numerous special nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Bill Brown. Family and friends may visit, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where the service will be conducted, Friday 11 am. Reverend Theresa Bobot officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio. Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct a Military Service, Friday 10:45 am.
