Ronald W. Chio, 80, formerly of Wooster, Ohio and most recently of Bridgeport, Ohio, died at his home, Thursday, January 4, 2018, with his family by his side.  He was born to the late Stanley Chio and Dorothy Butler Chio in Wooster, Ohio on May 4, 1937. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Tamela and Brenda Chio. He was a retired construction foreman.  Ron was a strong man, yet sensitive and caring at heart. He knew the importance of being family focused and committed and believed in his Creator.  Ron left a mark wherever he went. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsie Chio of Bridgeport, Ohio; sons, Timothy Chio of Wooster, Ohio, Randell Chio of Bridgeport, Ohio, Eric (Carly) of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jerry (Sue) Chio of West Virginia and Lanny (Lynn) Chio of Ashland, Ohio. In keeping with Ron's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will take place at a later date, at the convenience of his family.
