Ronald Joseph Pickens, 59, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2025.  He was born on April 12, 1966, in Wheeling, WV to the late Ronald and Edith Fay (Efaw) Pickens.

Ron worked as a laborer for the Local Union 1149.  He was a dedicated member of the Experience Church where he enjoyed being a member of the Galvanized Men's Group.  He was the previous president of the Harrison County Boat Club.  Ron was a family man who loved being with his grandchildren.  He had the best sense of humor and often did creative, fun games with the kids like "Zombie".   He enjoyed fishing and hunting and everything outdoors.  He had a smile that would light up the room and would help anyone who asked.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Williamson, and a grandson, Braedon Warren.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Cammie Pickens; children, Marissa (Jerry) Nichols, Seth Pickens, Corey Pickens (Brooklyn Snyder), Justin (Jade) Justice, Matthew Justice, Brandon Warren, Michelle Randall; son-in-law, Donald Williamson; grandchildren, Brandon, Hagen, Madisen, Ava, Hayden, Alex, Piper, Caysen, Camryn, Payton, Brandon, Justice, Nevaeh, and one on the way, Khloii; brothers, Michael (Melissa) Pickens, Ted Pickens; mother-in-law, Ginnie Givens (Tom Laniewski); sisters-in-law, Krista Jarvis, Ginnifer Morford (Tom Bluthardt); special friends, Ben Graham, Amanda & Vernon Hall.

The visitation will be on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 2pm until the time of service at 6pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912 with Pastor Tim Seidler officiating.  Cremation will follow.

In honor of Ron's love of the outdoors, the family asks that the guests wear their favorite camouflage gear.
