Ronald Peter Pizzoferrato, 83, of Mingo Junction, passed away in his home on Saturday, September 12, 2020.  He was born on February 22, 1937 in Steubenville a son of the late Joseph and Viola (White) Pizzoferrato.  He was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.  He was a 30-year choir member at St Agnes and also served in many different aspects of parish life.  Ron was a youth sports coach for many years and a member of the Mingo Junction Knights of Columbus. Ron also served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald J. Pizzoferrato of Mingo Junction and Michael (Cynthia) Pizzoferrato of Northampton, PA; 2 granddaughters, Victoria and Gabriella Pizzoferrato; a grandson, Ronnie Pizzoferrato; a close friend and companion, Mary Karovic and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife JoAnn (Ferraro) Pizzoferrato in 2004; a son, Brian Pizzoferrato and 4 brothers, Joseph, Richard, Daniel and Patrick Pizzoferrato.

Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm in Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Ave., Mingo Junction for a memorial visitation.   A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 am in St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Father James Dunfee officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
