Ronald J. Pizzoferrato, 62, of Mingo Junction, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. He was born on December 13, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ a son of the late Ronald P. and JoAnn (Ferraro) Pizzoferrato. Ron was a 1981 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central where he played football and baseball, he also enjoyed playing Bocce. After a long absence living out west, he returned to Mingo Junction, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and reconnecting with old friends. In his youth Ron was a free spirit, having crossed the country twice on a Harley driving from California to Florida and Back.

He is survived by his brother, Michael (Cynthia) Pizzoferrato; two nieces; a nephew; a great niece; and many cousins.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Brian A. Pizzoferrato.
