Ronald F. "Ron" Cilli, 84, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, entered his eternal home when he went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Born May 20, 1932 in Somerset, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Patsy Cilli and Rose Cilli Williams
Believing that faith gives purpose and direction; he was a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was co-owner of S & S Tire in Knoxville, Tennessee and until his passing, worked at Stoney Hollow Tire. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion of Belmont. His passion was golf and taking care of his yard. During the Korean War, Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Cilli and sister, Lydia Cilli Mastiak
Ron is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife of 34 years, Sandy Cilli of St. Clairsville, Ohio; sons, Steve Cilli of Columbus, Ohio, Ronnie Cilli of Colorado; daughters, Tina Cilli, Lisa (Steve) Smith all of Columbus, Ohio, Rhonda (Tim) Marple of Bellaire, Ohio, Darla (Don) Orlando of Wheeling, West Virginia, Cathy (Johnny) Marple of St. Clairsville; and Linda (Dan) Heil of Dover; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m., until the time of service, beginning at 11 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Reverend Theresa Bobot officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio, where Military Honors will be presented by Belmont County Veterans Association.
