Ronald R. Roth, Sr. 78, of Brackin Rd., Bridgeport, OH died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Sept. 1, 1931 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Steven S. and Ann (Dull) Roth. He was retired from the Beech Bottom Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. Ronald was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry, the United Steel Workers of America, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was also a member of the Colerain V.F.W., Post # 8848. Surviving are his wife Rita (Malatesta) Roth, three sons Ronald (Stella ) Roth, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Mark S. (Dawn ) Roth, and Kirk (Karen ) Roth all of Martins Ferry, a brother Eric S. (Karen) Roth of Detroit, MI, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Bill N.
