RONALD SWALLIE, 79, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born June 7, 1929 in Barnesville, the son of the late Leroy and Goldie Swallie. Ronald was a retired steelworker at Abe Sebulsky Steel, Inc. in St. Clairsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Swallie; a son Terry; two brothers and six sisters. Ronald is survived by his companion Sok Asbury; two sons Donald of Cincinnati and Ray of Beallsville; two daughters Robin Jones of St. Clairsville and Bonnie Allen of Bellaire; four brothers Clausen, Jim , Don and Richard all of Barnesville; a sister Pauline; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; as well as Nancy Asbury and Candy Stanley with whom he resided. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 pm until the time of Ronald's funeral services at 6 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
