Ronald C. Waldo 82, of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1940, in Bellaire, a son of the late Alonzo and Elizabeth (Dinsmore) Waldo.

He was a Retired employee of Met-Tec of Cambridge, member of the Kirkwood United Methodist Church Bridgeport, a Veteran in the US Army, a member of Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #181, the Scottish Rite and a 32nd Degree Mason. Ron also belonged to the Lansing Sportsman Club, and was a alumnus of Bridgeport High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Phyliss Ray, Louis Jeffers, and Walter "Bud" Waldo, also a niece Ardith Bowers, and Diane Cook, nephews Timmy, Terry, and Donny Jeffers.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Scales) Waldo, his daughter Dawn (Harold) Walker of Lawrenceburg, KY, a sister-in-law Peggy Maddox, nephews Rick (Candice) Maddox, and Marc Waldo, nieces Bonnie Ray Nolte, Lynette (Samuel) Catalano, great nieces Lisa (Bob) Walters, Kristian (Steve) Summers, Angie Catalano, Anneliese Waldo, and Leta (Dave) Slavik, great nephews Sammy Catalano, Michael Waldo, and Jonathan Bowers, also several great nieces and nephews, and several great–great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday March 10, 2023, from 4-8 pm with Masonic Services to be held at 7:30 pm. Services will be held on Saturday at 12 m with Rev. James Hoff officiating, internment at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Full Military services will be conducted by the Belmont Count Veterans Association

on Saturday at 11: 45 at the Funeral Home.
