Ronald A. Winzenreid, 58, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. He was born June 24, 1952 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Wolfe) Winzenreid. He was Superintendent of Prison Industries for the West Virginia Regional Jail & Correctional Facility of Moundsville, WV. Ron was a member of Ohio Lodge #1 A.F. & A.M. of Wheeling and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife Beth (Davis) Winzenreid, a daughter Kara Winzenreid of Martins Ferry, two sons Captain Curt Winzenreid of Ft. Gordon, GA and Luke Winzenreid of Martins Ferry, a sister Ruth Ann (Bruce) Crile of Amity, PA, and a brother James E. (Rebecca) Winzenreid of Northville, MI. Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Monday 6-9 pm and Tuesday 11 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Military honors will be presented prior to services at the funeral home by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 49325 St. Rt. 250, Harrisville, OH 43974 or to the Goodwill Industries.
