Rosalie Mae Holyak 71 of Commercial Drive Bridgeport formerly of Adena died Sunday May 16, 2010 at U.P.M.C. Hospital Pittsburgh. She was born May 31, 1938 in Dillonvale, a daughter of the Late Willard and Alice (Swabado) King. She was a retired employee of Carriage Inn Nursing Home Cadiz and a member of Fresh Start Ministries Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Kitsel David Holyak a brother Willard King, two sisters Joy Ann and Loretta King, a brother-in law Ellis Carter. Surviving are three sons John of Maynard, Kevin (Debra) of Adena, Randall of Bellaire, three daughters Lora Karkula (John) of Bridgeport, Karen Messer of Mt. Holly N.C., Sandra Holyak of Adena, one sister Ruth Gay Carter of Adena, 21 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held Friday at 11 am with the Rev. Charles Baldwin officiating interment in Olive Branch Cemetery Harrisville.
