Rosalie Blua Kubat, 86, of Dun Glen, OH passed away July 28, 2016 at Trinity Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was born February 28, 1930 in LeHigh Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ed Kubat, Sr.; her son, Ed "Boots" (Melanie) Kubat Jr.; brother, Jay B. (Judy) Blua; and sister, Mary Elizabeth "Boodle" (Sonny) Edgehouse. She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Joel) Bensie; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Rosalie was passionate about her 30 plus years as a Buckeye Local School Bus Driver and loved to brag about all the kids on her bus. She loved her Catholic Faith and attended St. Adalbert's church in Dillonvale. She enjoyed polkas, cooking, and decorating for the holidays. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Her famous Halushki and chicken soup recipes will be passed down through generations. Friends will be received Monday, August 1st from 9a.m. to 10:45a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 2nd St., Dillonvale, OH. Mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Dillonvale at 11a.m. with Msgr. John Kolesar as celebrant. Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
