Obituary

Delberto, Rose 103, of Martins Ferry, died Monday October 18, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. Rose was born September 14, 1907 in Braddock, PA, a daughter of the late John Stark and Teresa Potocar In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Delberto, and her brothers Lewis and Carl Stark, and two sisters Johanna Stark and Evelyn Fox. Rose is survived by a niece Joan DeAlba, and several nephews all of Huntington WV. Rose lived for 73 years in Bridgeport where she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, the C.W.C., the Joseph Zini Choir, St. Ann's Society, and the Senior Citizens. More recently she resided in Martins Ferry at East Ohio Regional Extended Care and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday October 21, 2010 from 5 till 7 pm with rosary devotions at 6 pm. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Wolfhurst with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Interment in St Anthony's Cemetery Blaine.
