Rose A. Wallace, 73, of Bridgeport, OH passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at her home with her sons and family at her bedside.

She was born August 4th, 1946, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late Harry Irvin Sr. and Esther Randall Irvin.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and the NAACP.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Wallace Sr.; brothers, Harry Irvin Jr., Asbury Irvin, Kenneth Irvin; sisters, Norma Jordan, Evelyn Johnson, Margaret Platt; and great-grandson, Treymier Turner.

Rose is survived by her sons, Shawn Michael (Jenyne) Wallace of Ashtabula, James "Jack" Wallace Jr., of Bridgeport Christopher Wallace of Bridgeport; sister, Barbara Galloway of Columbus, GA; granddaughters, Shaunte and Danyelle Wallace; great-granddaughters, Mia, Aniya, and Sophia Wallace;  great-grandsons, Elijah and Jeremiah Turner, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, July 17th at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH from noon until time of service at 1p.m. with Pastor Rudy McAllister officiating.  Private interment at the convenience of the family.
