Rose (Pasztor) Nedved Ford, 89, of Ohio Ave, Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, Mar. 8, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born July 11, 1917 in Crabtree, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia ( Krist) Pasztor. She retired after 28 yrs. of service in the emergency room of East Ohio Regional Hospital of Martins Ferry. Rose was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church of Colerain, sang in the Church Choir and belonged to the Catholic Women's Club. She was an advisor for the 4H Smoothmixers, a member of V.F.W. Post #4484 Auxiliary , and the AARP Chapter all of Colerain. Rose was a founder and past president of the St. Johns Band Patrons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Frank J. Nedved, Sr., her second husband Ralph Ford, her son Frank J. Nedved, Jr., a grandson Frank J. Nedved, III, two brothers Joseph and Peter Pasztor, and a sister Mary Pulay. Surviving are two daughters Anna Marie McCutcheon and Sherry (Terry) Stratton both of Martins Ferry, a daughter-in-law Sharon Nedved of Colerain, two brothers Andrew Pasztor of Pleasant Grove, OH and Steve (Mary Ann) Pasztor of Bridgeport, OH, a sister Anna Pasztor of Pleasant Grove, seven grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, March 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Charles Mascolino officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
