Rose Marie (Navaroli) Thompson, 75, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed Friday December 20, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Bellaire Ohio on June 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Fred Smith and Verda Tharp Jeffers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Joseph Hakr and a brother Edward Good. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Thomas William Thompson; three daughters: Cindy (Buzz) Battocletti of St. Clairsville, Dana (John) Coniff of Wheeling, W.Va., Ruth (Tony) Whelan of Elizabethtown, KY., sisters: Gloria Thomas, Priscilla Pintarich, Lois LaRoche, Verda Pintarich; grandchildren: Joseph, Rebecca, Jason, Andrew, and Michael; great-grandchildren: Aden and Addison. Friends will be received Sunday 3-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Monday December 23, 2013 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery, Bellaire.
