YANDA, Rose Kurtz, 92 of Dillonvale, Ohio, died Friday May 13, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Dillonvale on March 17, 1919, a daughter of the late James and Theresa Borufka Kurtz. She was a former member of CSA Lodge #121 & 389; Dames of Malta #31; Garden Club of Dillonvale, and the Dillonvale United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Yanda; brothers: Louis, James, William and Joseph Kurtz; and two sisters: Mary Rairigh and Anna Novacek. Rose is survived by three sons: Jerry (Karen) Yanda Jr. of Dillonvale, Larry (Mary Jo) Yanda of Steubenville, Danny (Arlene) Yanda of Irwin, Pal, a sister Betty Captor of Yorkville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor William Burris, officiating, at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio.
