Rose Zalenski, 100, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away March 8th, 2021 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire.

She was born May 22, 1920, in Port Carbon, PA, a daughter of the late Theodore and Julia (Yankovig) Sidella.

Rose was retired from the Dinner Bell in Wheeling where she was a server. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Martins Ferry where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club and the Catholic Daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Zalenski in 2008; siblings, John, Joe, Steve, and Peter Sidella, Barbara Ritchey, Anna Fedsh, Mary Billichak, and Helen Wetzel.

Rose is survived by children, Donald (Phyllis) Zalenski of DE, James (Roni) Zalenski of Pickerington, OH, Gary Zalenski of Martins Ferry,OH, Glen (Kathy) Zalenski of Bloomindale, OH, and six grandchildren.

A private service was held with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Martins Ferry. Rev. Gary Zalenski, Rev. David Demarest, and Rev. Thomas Marut officiated the service.
