Obituary

ROSEMARY FILLON, 79, of St. Clairsville, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born September 21, 1928 in Wolfhurst, the daughter of the late John and Christine Marcinko Perko, Sr. Rosemary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and was a former employee of Lerners in Wheeling where she was a sales clerk then manager of the credit department. She then was employed at L.S. Good & Co. as the accounts payable manager before retiring from the office at Kings Jewelry at the Ohio Valley Mall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother David Perko; two sisters in law Gloria and Dolly Perko. Surviving are her husband John Fillon of St. Clairsville; a daughter Beth Ann Fairbanks and her husband William of St. Clairsville; a brother John Perko, Jr. of St. Clairsville; a sister Ethel Estep and her husband Robert of Vestal, NY; a sister in law Susan Perko of Logan, OH; several nieces and nephews as well as two schnauzers, Little Bear and Buttons, that she truly loved. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 6 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 12 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, with Father Anthony Batt as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
