(Koenig) Zelek

Rosemary Jean Zelek, 89, of Adena, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was born on March 8, 1936, in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late John and Ann (Karvola) Koenig. Rosemary was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, owned and operated Sun Shop Tanning in Emerson and the Pizza House on State Route 250. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, canning, and gardening.
Rosemary is survived by five daughters, Debora (Frank) Kovalski, Cynthia Supinski, Kathy King, Tammy Kelley, and Carol (Greg) Cornett; a brother, John (Theresa) Koenig Jr.; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Zelek in 2019; a sister, Marjorie Glaser; and two sons-in-law, Thomas Supinski and Robert Kelley.
A private Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. Adalbert Catholic Church celebrated by Father William Cross and Father David Cornett. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Mausoleum.
