Rosetta "Tillie" Svoboda, 73, of Dillonvale, died Friday July 2, 2010 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. She was born January 24, 1937 in Ramsey, OH, the daughter of the late Harry and Martha (Marzley) Basluke. Tillie was a graduate of Dillonvale High in 1955. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Svoboda, Sr., whom she was married to for 47 years; two sisters, Cecilia DiCola, Vera Powley; and one brother Harry Basluke. She is survived by her son, of whom she was very proud, Robert Svoboda Jr. and his wife Kim of Dillonvale; two beautiful granddaughters Sierra Jo and Sommer Leigh, both of Dillonvale; two brothers Raymond (Joanne) Basluke of St. Clairsville, Alex (Mary Kay) Basluke of Dillonvale; four sisters Geneva Fox and Betty Rose both of Dillonvale, Nancy Robinson of Ocala, Fl, Joanne Lipski of Pittsburgh, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday July 5, 2010 from 5-9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm with Pastor Marvin Schooler officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
